A Memorial Service for Rosalind Christ, age 93, of Lake Park, was held on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at the United Methodist Church in Lake Park.

Marvin Curtis Jans, the only child of Harry and Erma (Schmillen) Jans, was born August 10, 1934, in Remsen, Iowa.

A funeral service for Jan Wiese, 74, of Lake Park, was held Monday, December 4, 2023, at Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Spirit Lake. Burial was at Silver Lake Cemetery in Lake Park. Memorials in memory of Jan can be given to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.

Funeral services are planned for Robert Allen Gunderson, 86, of Lake Park, at 10:30am, Tuesday, November 21, at Lake Park Methodist Church. Visitation with family members were present on Monday, November 20, at the church.

Terrilyn Kay (Williams) McDonnell, 64, daughter of Sharlene L. (Boernsen) Leith and Donald J. Leith, of Afton, Iowa, and the late J. Thomas Williams and Delores (Olson) (Peters) Williams, of Spirit Lake, Iowa, passed away, peacefully, on, Saturday, October 21, 2023, at her home, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with her husband, Paul, and daughter, Elena, by her side

Elayne Stoller, 98, of Spirit Lake, passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2023, at her residence at Keelson Harbour in Spirit Lake.

Dean John Ricker, son of Earl Kenneth and Pearl Margaret (Broadbent) Ricker, was born February 6, 1927, in Park Rapids, Minnesota.

Christopher Kim Petrick, 36, of Shoreline, Washington, formerly of Spirit Lake, passed away unexpectedly from natural causes in Shoreline, WA, on Monday, November 13, 2023.

Bob Gunderson died on Nov. 13, at Aspire of Lake Park Care Center, surrounded by his family.

A Memorial Service for Keith Abens, age 72, of Arnolds Park, formerly of Webster City, will be held on Sunday, November 12, 2023, at 4:00pm, at First Lutheran Church in West Okoboji.

Mardel Theresa (Hassel) Heywood was born on a farm seven miles east of Graettinger on December 19, 1932, in the midst of the “Great Depression.”

Ron G. Heller, 52, of Brandon, SD passed away Sunday, November 5, 2023 after a short, courageous battle with cancer at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD.

Susan MacMillan, 72, of Spirit Lake, passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at Aspire Nursing Home in Estherville, Iowa.

Mary Lou Korwes, of Spirit Lake, passed away peacefully at the Accura Nursing Home in Spirit Lake on October 30, 2023, at the age of 87.

Wayne Elmer Feller, age 74,of Milford, passed away peacefully Tuesday, October 17th, after his long and strong battle with various medical issues.

Gwendolyn Sweet Rasmussen was born on February 16, 1933, in Dallas, Texas, to Arthur and Lillie McWilliams, and passed away at age 90 on October 12, 2023, in Spirit Lake, Iowa.
