Ryan “Bubba” Rogers, age 45, passed away in the early morning hours of June 18, 2023, in Mesa, Arizona.
He was born in Des Moines, Iowa, on January 19, 1978. He grew up during his early years in Indianola and Knoxville, Iowa. He often spent summers in Minnesota at the cabin as a child. His family later moved to Spirit Lake, Iowa, where he graduated high school.
Ryan earned his Business Degree at Buena Vista University and lived in Iowa, Arizona, and California, working in the nursing home and hospitality industries throughout those states.
He was an avid lover of cars and often attended car shows and auctions. He enjoyed collecting cars and buying and selling as well.
Ryan lived life like he never met a stranger! Along his journey he met so many people he became friends with, and added to his long “extended family” list. He had a heart and a smile for people, and showed that he cared about others. It often seemed like if you were with Bubba in public, people just knew him or gravitated toward him. He always loved joking around and making people laugh. He was loved and cared for by so many friends and family.
Survivors include his father; Jim (Toni) Rogers, brothers; Ty (Jenny) Rogers, Derrick (Lauren) Rogers, niece; Lelu (Joel) Allen, nephews; Charlie, Thomas, Wyatt and William Rogers, cousins; Lacey (Scott) and Eben Knecht, adopted family; Brenda and Randy Watson, and his loyal and loving dog, Eva.
Ryan was preceded in Death by his mom; Pam Rogers, Aunt; Cindy Bartling, Cousins;Damon Bartling and Lance Richardson.
