Richard (Dick) Kenneth Koep was born on April 8, 1937, in Spencer, Iowa, to Ed and Mathilda (Koele) Koep. He graduated from Milford High School in 1955.
Dick was a hard worker whether farming, working at the elevator or driving truck. He enjoyed a good drink, laughing and talking to people, especially telling stories of his years on the road. When not working, he loved to garden, fish, play games and spend time with family.
Left to cherish his memory are his children: Bruce (Kim) Koep, Jean (Ron) Wilms, Alan (Sheryl) Koep; his brother, LeRoy Koep and sister, Judy (Don) Brinkley; Angie’s children Skip (Tiia) Richer, Doug (Chris) Richer, Brad (Christene) Hanson, Angie (Jeff) Busch and Christy Porter; Many beautiful grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 31 years Angie, his parents, his daughter, son-in-law and grandson, Karen, Cecil and Shane Coombs.
