Roger Lee Kloster, of Jackson, Minnesota, at the young age of 82, went to the Lord on February 10th, 2023.

Allan Heebner, son of Paul and Shirley (Eldridge) Heebner, was born on March 1, 1959, in Fort Dodge, Iowa.

Shirley Werner, of Omaha, Nebraska, formerly of Okoboji and Fort Dodge, passed away on Friday, February 3, 2023, at Heritage Pointe Assisted Living in Omaha, Nebraska. 

A Memorial Service for Kenneth “Kenny” Reynolds, age 94, of Arnolds Park, was held on Monday, February 6, 2023, at Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Milford. 

A Funeral Service for Jean Goetsch, age 86, of Spirit Lake, was held Saturday, February 4, 2023, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Spirit Lake.

Mark Rosener, age 56, passed away suddenly and tragically on Sunday, January 29th.

Max Hurdle, 90, of Spencer, passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2023, at St. Luke Lutheran Home in Spencer.

Clement “Clem” McCoy, 80, of Spirit Lake, passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, at Lakes Regional Healthcare in Spirit Lake.

A visitation for Beth Lynn Heide, age 55, of Spirit Lake, Iowa, was held Monday, January 30, 2023, at Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Spirit Lake. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held in the summer, 2023.

Francis “Frank” Edward Kennedy, 87, of Spirit Lake, passed away peacefully at his residence on January 12, 2023.

A funeral service for Margaret “Peggy” Gunderson, 81, of Lake Park, was held Monday, January 23, 2023, at the United Methodist Church in Lake Park. Interment was at Silver Lake Cemetery in Lake Park.

A visitation and celebration of life for G. Wallis “Wally” Reed, 82 of Spirit Lake, IA will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2023, from 2:30-5:30, at Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Spirit Lake

A Memorial Service for Byron Thelen, age 85, of Milford, was held Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at First Lutheran Church in West Okoboji. Inurnment will be in the Milford Cemetery at a later date. 

Clifford Dale “Cliff” Phipps, 90, of Spirit Lake, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at Lakes Regional Healthcare in Spirit Lake.

Stanley Rodney Thomsen (Rod), aged 92, of Everly, Iowa, passed away peacefully,surrounded by family members,on Tuesday, January 3, at Community Memorial Health Center,in Hartley, Iowa.

On January 2, 2023, Mary L. McBreen Newton, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and special friend to many, passed away at the age of 99.

Arlon J. Sandbulte (84) of Marco Island, FL, and Sioux Center, IA, passed away in the early morning hours on Thursday,December twenty-second, at Sanford Specialty Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD, with his family surrounding him.

Ronald James “Jim” Palmer, 73, of Milford, Iowa, passed away with family by his side on December 10th, 2022, in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Lisa Marie (Cole) Swalley was welcomed home to heaven on Tuesday December 6, 2022, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, at McKennen Avera Hospital, after a lengthy illness. She was born November 6, 1967, in Fort Dodge, Iowa, to Del and Marcia (Shroyer) Cole.

A Memorial Service for Carol Koep, age 85, of Milford, will be held on Friday, December 16, 2022, at 10:30am, at Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Milford.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Sandra Long, age 81, of Spencer was held Friday, December 2, 2022, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Milford. Interment was at Calvary Cemetery in Milford. 

Dale Robert Tatman, age 93, of Mesa, Arizona, formerly Milford, Iowa, passed away peacefully at Banner Baywood Medical Center in Mesa, on November 28, 2022.

A private family Celebration of Life Service for Marlene Stokka, age 80, of Milford, will be held Thursday, December 22, at Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Spirit Lake.

Betsy Ann Ziegenbusch Mudd was born June 24th, 1982, to John and Susan Ziegenbusch, in Maquoketa, Iowa. Betsy spent her childhood in Spirit Lake, Iowa, where she could be found smelling the flowers, dancing in the rain, creating something out of nothing, and entertaining those around her with her wit and imagination.

Robert Burkhart Albright was born on a farm near Ruthven, Iowa, on March 17, 1929.

Paula Gerdes, 70, of Spirit Lake, passed away on Monday, November, 14, 2022, at the Spencer Hospital in Spencer, Iowa.

Steven Ihnen, 68, of Spirit Lake, passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2022, surrounded by his family at his home in Spirit Lake.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Dale Langel, 86, of Milford, was held Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Milford. Burial was at Calvary Cemetery in Milford.

Stanley Edward Sherrill, age 94, passed away peacefully in his sleep at a hospice October 26, 2022, in Atlanta (GA) with his son by his side.

Daniel Enderson passed away October 22, 2022, in Tempe, Arizona, at the age of 65.

Robert “Bob” Burley, 83, of Spirit Lake, passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at the Community Memorial Health Center in Hartley.

Debra “Debbie” Spangler, 67, Clarinda, Iowa, passed away Monday, September 12, 2022. She was born April 4, 1955, in Estherville, Iowa, to Warren Fink and Lois (Hanson) Zitterich.
