Jeffrey Barrett, 68, of Newton, Iowa, formerly of Arnolds Park, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2023, at the VA Central Iowa Healthcare System in Des Moines, Iowa.
Services for Jeffrey will be held at a later date with burial in the Spirit Lake Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Spirit Lake, IA. Arrangements are under the direction of the Robinson Funeral Home in Spirit Lake. Online condolences may be left at www.spiritlakefuneralhome.com
Jeffrey Ron Barrett was born on October 3, 1955, in Eshterville, IA, to Ronald and Shirley (Nissen) Barrett. In his younger years, he enjoyed hunting and fishing around the Iowa Great Lakes Area. After he graduated from Arnolds Park High School, he enlisted in the US Navy and was honorably discharged.
He is survived by his mother, Shirley Barrett of Arnolds Park; brothers, Brian Barrett of Mt. Zion, IL; Bruce Barrett of Iowa City, IA; sister, Brenda Barrett-Keune married to Arden Keune of Sioux Rapids, IA; and many nieces and a nephew.
He was preceded in death by his father Ronald.
