William “Bill” Landegent, 95, formerly of Rock Valley, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2024.
Family will be present for visitation at Heritage Funeral Home, Sioux Falls, South Dakota, from 3:00- 5:00 p.m., on Wednesday, January 17, 2024. Funeral services will be at First Reformed Church in Rock Valley, Iowa, at 1:00 p.m., on Friday, January 19, 2024, with fellowship to follow.
Grateful for sharing Bills’s life are his children, Susan Nordby (Jan), Scott Landegent (Rita); grandchildren, Alison Elliott, Brian Nordby (Laura), Phil Landegent (Erin), Caija West (Logan) and his step-grandson Keygan Bogenhagen; his great-grandchildren, Graham, Elise, Mason, Madelyn, Mathious, Wilder, Belle and Fiia; beloved sister, Kay Van Otterloo, Aldwin Lorica and numerous brothers- and sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Alma Landegent, his son, Bruce Landegent; his infant son, Wayne; his brothers, Hupe, Case, John and Adrian and his sisters, Helen, and Johanna.
In memory of Bill Landegent, if you are so inclined, the family requests that donations be made to Lyon County Conservation Foundation (Lake Pahoja) in lieu of flowers.
