Sandra Haht, 78, of Spirit Lake, passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, surrounded by family at her daughter’s home in Milford.
A celebration of life will be held at 11:00am, Monday, May 9, 2022, at the Schuchert-Lentz Funeral Home in Spirit Lake. Arrangements are under the direction of the Schuchert-Lentz Funeral Home in Spirit Lake. Online Condolences may be left at www.spiritlakefuneralhome.com.
Sandra was born on June 3, 1943, to Robert and Laverna (Scheffler) Hasara in Spirit Lake. After graduating from Spirit Lake High School in 1961, she went to further her education at Briar Cliff University in Sioux City where she obtained her BSN Degree. She worked for many years as a Nurse for the Avera Healthcare System. She was united in marriage to Wayne Haht on October 15, 1983, in Spirit Lake.
In her free time, she enjoyed going to garage sales, decorating, crafts, flower gardens, her beloved dogs and spending time with her friends and family.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband Wayne Haht of Spirit Lake; daughter Robin (Ed) Lock of Milford; son Cory Wells of Milford; stepdaughter Erin Haht of Cedar Rapids;grandchildren, Ashley (Nick) Hochberger of Story City, IA; Jessica Lock of Des Moines, IA; Alexandra Lock of Des Moines, IA; Chase Wells of Lee’s Summit,MO; great-grandchildren Reagan, Dominic, Jack, Kayley, Elias, Isla, Zebrayah and Luka.
She was preceded in death by her father Bob Hasara, mother Laverna Hasara, granddaughter Natalie and her stepson Adam.
