Roman Delbert Dodge, angel born son of Ebby and Jake Dodge, came into the world on May 20, 2025, after 27 weeks in the comfort of his mommy. Services were held Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Valley Church, 4343 Fuller Road in West Des Moines, Iowa, with private burial at Jordan Cemetery.
There were so many hopes and dreams for this sweet baby boy. He will be forever remembered by his loving parents, Ebby and Jake Dodge; his grandparents, Brian and Nikki “GiGi” Prewitt, Tri Dodge, and Scott and Susan Dodge; great-grandparents, Dianne “Nana” and Bill “Papa” Brown, Marilyn Dodge, Joe Varnadore, and Terry and Audrey Meyerdirk; aunts and uncles, Isaac, Moriah, Chloe, Peprah (Gina), Parker (Dana), Preston and Mason; and many cousins and other loving relatives and special friends.
Roman was preceded in death by his grandparents, Delbert Dodge, Elaine Varnadore, Glenice Prewitt and Eldon Prewitt; uncles David Dodge and Jesse Varnadore.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Roman’s family as they will be gifting special care packages to other parents experiencing the loss of a child.
