A visitation for Jeff Larson, age 64, of Milford will be held Saturday, March 8, 2025, beginning at 10:00 AM, followed by a memorial service at 1:00 PM, at Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Spirit Lake.
Jeffrey Dean Larson, the son of Harvey and Ernestine Larson, was born March 22, 1960, in Spirit Lake, Iowa. Jeff passed away February 1, 2025, at his winter home in Donna, Texas.
Jeff married Teresa (Trojahn) August 14,1982 and they were married for 34 years. They raised 4 children, Jennifer, Jacqueline, John and Jerry.
Jeff had many interests throughout life which included but weren’t limited to, welding, serving as a firefighter, carpentry, fishing, and cars. Jeff loved being a service to others. He used his God-given talents to help others, and he was well known for being a jack of all trades. Jeff had immense love for his grandchildren. In his last few years of life he found peace wintering in Donna, TX.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Jennifer (Mike)Van Dam of Spirit Lake, IA, Jacqueline McClendon of Jacksonville, FL, John (Skye) Larson of West Okoboji, IA, and Jerry Larson of West Okoboji, IA; grandchildren, Jordan Nohrenberg, Terrance Gibbs, I’Yanna Meredith, Darnell McClendon, Giavanna McClendon, Alicia Larson, James Larson, Benjamin Larson, Owen Larson and Danielle Larson; great-granddaughter, Kingsleigh Gibbs. He is also survived by his siblings, Bradley (Marsha) Larson of Sioux Falls, SD, Heidi (Mike) Koopmeiners of Maplewood, MN, and Darla (Randy) Thunstrom of Coon Rapids, MN; sister-in-law, Sally; nieces and nephews , Mark (Andrew), Bethany (Logan), Angie (Hunter), Chad (Kate), Nick (Bethanie) and Brittney (Ronnie); as well as great-nieces and great-nephews.
Jeff was preceded in death by his parents Harvey and Ernestine, his brother, Craig; and nephew, David.
Turner Jenness Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
