James Roy Taylor born on July 15, 1988, in Garfield Heights, Ohio. James was known by his family and friends as “JT”.
James passed away unexpectedly from a medical issue on Monday, July 1, 2024,at his home in Oakwood, Georgia.
James moved to the Atlanta area late in December 1988. James called Buford, Georgia,home for the last 28 years. James graduated in 2006 from Millcreek High School in Dacula, Georgia. He continued on to complete The Connecticut School of Broadcasting.
James had a winning smile, a kind heart, sense of humor and a quick wit. He enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and his girlfriend, Jenafer Wright. He also enjoyed his dogs, being outdoors, attending Dragon Con festivals, gaming, movies and electronics.
James will be dearly missed by all who loved and had the opportunity to know him.
James is survived by his parents,Cheryl Taylor of Oakwood, Georgia and Steve Taylor of Marietta, Georgia;Linda Wiegert of Spirit Lake, Iowa, and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, James Taylor and Rae Taylor of Blair, Nebraska, and his maternal grandfather, Roy Wiegert of Spirit Lake, Iowa.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled on August 3, 2024 at 1 o’clock at the Elachee Nature Center in Gainesville, Georgia.
