Clarence Albertus Bosch, the son of Garrett and Irene (Tordsen) Bosch, was born September 11, 1938, on the family farm, four miles east of Lakefield, Minnesota.
Clarence moved to California in 1960, and worked at the Perlite Factory. On November 13, 1971, he was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He also had the joy of meeting his half brother, Carl, while in California. On March 10, 1973, Clarence married Dona Marie Carr in Costa Mesa, California. The couple moved back to Iowa where Clarence worked in stucco and dryvit out of Fulteron in Worthington.
He loved to garden, both vegetables and flowers. He went on several snowmobile trips to Eli, Minnesota, and the Black Hills. Clarence and Dona enjoyed rides in their white convertible, and they often gave rides to family members and friends. Clarence enjoyed being around children and they loved him in return. He loved talking about God’s Kingdom and was always at meetings or present through zoom, as recently as 3 days before he died.
Clarence passed away February 4, 2025, at Accura Healthcare in Spirit Lake, at eighty-six years of age.
He is survived by his wife, Dona Bosch; four nieces and nephews, Robert Bosch of Tecumseh, MI; Wanda (Larry) Hutchins of Spirit Lake, IA; Laurie (Terry) Podeszwa of Stillman Valley, IL and Michelle Bosch of Spirit Lake, IA.
