Brandee Lynn Roberts, 52 of Arnolds Park, Iowa passed away in Spencer on July 30 after a hard-fought battle with cancer.
Brandee was born October 8, 1972 in San Diego California and later moved with her family to Iowa.
She attended Okoboji schools and after graduation she went on to become an LPN. She was a dedicated nurse at many facilities during her career until the cancer took that away from her. She was loved by so many of her co-workers and residents because she was a giver until the very end. There was never a “cause” she would not support in one way or another.
She enjoyed all inclusive trips to tropical places, never met a slot machine she didn’t like, and had an affinity for shopping passed down from the “Great One” Grandma Jo, the ability to feed an army even when it was just a few and never turned away a stray.
She is survived by her son Chance Roberts, the love of her life Brad Mortenson and his children Kady and Clayton, beloved side kick “POO-POO”, her mother Dianne Krueger (Gary), uncle and best friend Danny Roberts, brother Tyrel Kinkade, sister Tracey Christensen (Sean), stepbrothers Brent Krueger (Carla) and Alan Krueger (Jadee). Along with many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, extended family and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Milton and JoAnn Hamm.
A visitation for Brandee Roberts, 52, will be held 4-6 PM on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Milford. A reception will be held at Mill Creek following the visitation. A private family graveside service will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the American Cancer Society in Brandee’s memory.
