Becky Frederick, 76, of Spirit Lake, passed away on Friday, December 27, 2024, at Accura Healthcare of Spirit Lake.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Spirit Lake. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the church. Burial will be held in the Lakeview Cemetery in Spirit Lake. Becky Jo Frederick was born on February 2, 1948, to R.E. “Johnny” and Elaine “Shorty” (Hinton) Chalstrom in Spirit Lake. After graduating from Spirit Lake High School, she attended Iowa Lakes Community College. She was married to Darwin Frederick on September 24, 1982, in Spirit Lake. Becky worked many years in retail, and she retired from working in the lunch program for Spirit Lake Schools.
In her free time, she enjoyed reading and trying her luck at the casino.
She is survived by her husband, Darwin Frederick of Spirit Lake; sister, Diane Spengler of Hernando, FL; brother, Bill (Margo) Chalstrom of Bremerton, WA; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother Steve Chalstrom.
