Allan Heebner, son of Paul and Shirley (Eldridge) Heebner, was born on March 1, 1959, in Fort Dodge, Iowa. He passed away at his home in rural Estherville, on February 5, 2023, at the age of 63 years.
Allan attended grade schools at Lytton, Cylinder, and Emmetsburg before graduating from Spirit Lake High School in 1977. He excelled in wrestling in his high school career.
Following high school, Al worked for the Pelzer family as a farmhand. Throughout the years, he also worked at Spencer Pack, Stylecraft, Morton Buildings, and AgPartners. He was currently again working on the farm for the Dave and Derek Young family, with whom he became very close friends.
In his free time, Allan enjoyed hunting, going to Canada on fishing trips with family, livestock, cattle, trapping, and hunting.
Allan is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Heebner of Spirit Lake; parents,Paul and Shirley Heebner of Spencer; his siblings,Steve (Tami Otto) Heebner of Spirit Lake, Bryan (Becky Baker) Heebner of Estherville, and Carla (Randy) Helmers of Estherville. He is also survived by two nieces, four nephews, and nine great-nieces and nephews.
Allan was preceded in death by his nephew Collin Helmers and his grandparents.
